Kathleen is Co-Founder and CEO at InBold Inc. Her general management experience and strategic approach is paired with strong financial oversight. Following an expansive experience bringing emerging technology to markets and creating new business for large enterprise, Kathleen returned to her startup roots and with technology investors and experts created EI Group.
The firm focuses on increasing client success through partnership and alliances and delivering integrated information solutions globally combining business goals and technology advancements to transform healthcare, financial, agriculture, and other industries using the insights of big data analytics and applied cognitive science.
In the span of her career, Kathleen held multiple Executive roles at IBM leading key areas of the firm’s most strategic growth businesses in Cognitive Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud, and Big Data Analytics where her focus was to define and head up global strategies and mobilize new channels and marketplace ecosystems. As the first Worldwide Leader for IBM Watson Sales, she introduced the iconic Watson AI technology, first seen on Jeopardy, as commercialized healthcare and smart city offerings with artificial intelligence and machine-learning technology to the global marketplace.
She is a passionate business supporter and promoter of California-led innovations, emerging technology initiatives and facilitates sustainability best practices exchanges with Europe and Asia firms who are driving similar initiatives. Kathleen serves as Board Member and Advisor to both private sector firms and non-profits.
Kathleen shares her time in academia as a Professor teaching Strategic Management at Pepperdine University, Graziadio Business School, educating and mentoring future public and private sector leaders in executive, fully-employed, and online MBA programs.
She serves on the Graziadio Board and is the Co-chair of the annual Future of Healthcare Symposium.
Kathleen earned her Doctor in Business Strategy (DBA) at University of Liverpool, UK. Her scholarly focus is integrative, sustainable Smart Cities and applied differentiation and growth strategies via business and entrepreneurial economics.
