Scott Sylvia

Scott Sylvia has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Physical Therapy Aide at Foundry Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine until December 2007. In January 2008, they interned as a Quality Management Intern at The Miriam Hospital. From June 2008 to October 2010, Scott worked as a Clinical Content Associate at athenahealth. Scott then served as a Professional Services Training Associate from October 2010 to February 2012 before being promoted to Professional Services Senior Training Associate until January 2013. From January 2013 to February 2016, they worked as a Client Services Training Manager at athenahealth before taking on the role of Senior Manager, athenaUniversity from February 2016 to July 2018.

In July 2018, Scott joined GoTo as a Talent Development professional and held the position until December 2022. Currently, they are the Head of Learning and Development at LastPass, starting in January 2023.

Scott Sylvia completed their bachelor's degree in Health Policy and Management with a focus on healthcare at Providence College between 2004 and 2008. In terms of additional certifications, Scott obtained the Certified Instructional Designer accreditation from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in March 2019. Scott also acquired certifications in BlessingWhite - Career Conversations from BlessingWhite, a division of GP Strategies, in February 2019; Insights Discovery Client Practitioner from Insights in September 2018; LHH ChangeMap Facilitator from Lee Hecht Harrison in August 2018; and BlessingWhite - Your Career from BlessingWhite, a division of GP Strategies, in January 2018.
