Koen Mannaerts

Koen Mannaerts, also known as Manny, is currently the Director of Software Quality at Lateral Group, focusing on enhancing software development processes since September 2022. With extensive experience in various roles including Software Architect, Chief Architect, and Technical Manager, Manny has contributed to multiple projects across several companies, such as IDesign Inc. and ilionx, where involvement spans from project initiation to delivery. Previous positions include solution architecture for mobile applications and web platforms at BDO Global Financial Services and BDO, as well as technical leadership roles in software engineering at Vanderlande Industries and ASML. Manny holds degrees in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Multimedia & Signal Processing from KU Leuven and Industrial Engineering in Information and Communication Technology from Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen.
