Maria Fernanda Franco

Maria Fernanda Franco-Lopez is a bilingual public relations and outreach specialist at the Latin American Association since November 2021, having previously served as an operations coordinator. Prior experience includes working as a telecenter counselor at the University of North Georgia, where recruitment efforts targeted prospective students, and managing social media as a coordinator for the International Students Association, achieving a notable increase in followers. As vice president of the Public Relations Student Society of America, Maria collaborated on event planning and operational activities. Early career roles include receptionist positions at ibis and assistant manager at Levis’ Store. Maria holds a B.A. in Communication with a Public Relations Concentration from the University of North Georgia, alongside an Associate of Arts degree in Communication from Universidad Santo Tomás.
