Fernanda Queiroz

Counsellor/psychotherapist at Latin American Women's Rights Service

Fernanda Queiroz is a qualified mental health professional with extensive experience in psychotherapy and psychological assessment. Currently serving as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist at the Latin American Women's Rights Service since January 2022, Fernanda has also held various roles at Coastal Child & Adult Therapeutic Services as an Assistant Psychologist and Forensic Psychology Clinical and Research Intern from September 2020 to October 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist at Clínica Mecler, where responsibilities included providing psychotherapy to adults and young people. Fernanda's training has been supplemented by a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology from Maastricht University, as well as specialized training in Gestalt Therapy. Educational credentials also include a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and various relevant certifications.
