Irving Bustillo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Irving currently serves as the Chief Lending Officer at Latino Community Credit Union since May 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Vice President Branch Support from June 2021 to May 2023, and Vice President of Lending from January 2021 to June 2021 at the same organization. Irving also worked as an Internal Audit Director II from July 2019 to December 2020 and as a Branch Manager and Loan Officer from January 2017 to June 2019.
Before joining Latino Community Credit Union, Irving worked at Banco Davivienda as the Cards Deputy Director from January 2014 to December 2015. Their role involved managing the Cards Center and implementing the strategic business plan for electronic payments.
Prior to that, Irving had a career at banco ficohsa, where they held various positions. Irving worked as a Business Intelligence and Customer Relationship Management Manager from April 2013 to December 2013, overseeing customer relationship management strategies for Retail Banking and SMEs. Irving also served as the Deposits and Debit Card Manager from April 2010 to April 2013, responsible for strategizing and executing sales goals for the branch network.
Irving's experience extends beyond the banking industry. Irving worked as a Professor at UNITEC Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana in 2010-2011. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Country Manager of Cards Center at HSBC Honduras from January 2005 to May 2009 and worked as a Credit Cards Manager at Banco Uno Honduras from September 1995 to January 2005.
Irving Bustillo obtained a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Tecnológico de Monterrey, from 1998 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras, from 1992 to 1995. Irving completed their high school education at Instituto Salesiano San Miguel (ISSM) from 1987 to 1991.
