Andrea De La Torre currently serves as a Family Support Worker at the Latino Community Development Agency and has been an Undergraduate Researcher at the Developmental and Aging Neuroscience Education (DANE) Laboratory at the University of Delaware since May 2020. As the Chapter Chair for the Society for Advancing Chicanos Hispanics and Native Americans in Science at The University of Oklahoma, Andrea has also contributed as a research presenter at the SACNAS National Diversity in STEM Conference. Previous experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at both the OU Behavioral Neuroscience and Performance Center and the Kilic Astrophysics Laboratory. Andrea holds a degree in Psychology and Nonprofit Organizational Studies, with a focus on Child Development from the University of Oklahoma, and an Associate in Science in Diversified Studies with an emphasis on Physics from Oklahoma City Community College.
