Erik Michel

Erik Michel is a Data Strategist and Community Tech Advocate at Latino Community Fund Of Washington State. Erik is also known as the Latinos in Tech Organizer, connecting underrepresented communities with opportunities in the Tech/STEM fields through resources, mentorship, and events. Erik previously served as the Seattle Chapter Director at Techqueria and has experience as a Front End Assistant at Costco Wholesale and a Sales Associate at Best Buy. With a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Washington, Erik also worked as an Engineering Peer Educator, developing skills in training programs and student interaction.
