Taylor Durrer

Taylor Durrer is a Senior Software Engineer at Latitude AI since February 2023, previously holding the position of Software Engineer at Argo AI from October 2021 to February 2023. Taylor has extensive experience in software engineering, having worked at HERE Technologies as a Software Engineer from April 2019 to January 2021, focusing on developing C++ algorithms for auto-generating lane-level maps for self-driving cars, and conducting real-time vehicle path planning during an internship. Earlier roles include Head Tutor at the University of California, San Diego, where Taylor managed a team of 50 tutors and developed course materials, and internships at HERE Technologies and Microsoft, enhancing vehicle path planning and adding MS SQL Server support to an open-source project, respectively. Taylor holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego, attained in March 2019.
