Before transitioning into customer success management roles, Jess worked as a secondary teacher and instructional mentor at Boulder Valley School District. Jess designed and instructed unique classes, collaborated with fellow teachers to develop innovative curriculum, and introduced dynamic teaching tools to enhance student engagement.
Jess's educational career also includes working as a social studies teacher and collaboration leader at Cherry Creek School District. Jess taught students from diverse backgrounds and served as a team leader responsible for improving teaching practices and training orientation leaders.
