Han-Pei (Jack) Lin started their work experience as a Software Engineer at RETI in 2008, where they worked until 2009. Han-Pei (Jack) then moved on to Delta Networks, where they worked as a Software Engineer from 2009 to 2011. At Delta Networks, they gained experience in software engineering.
From 2011 to 2013, Han-Pei worked as a Senior Engineer at Compal, where they were a part of the BSP team for Android Tablet development. Han-Pei (Jack) mainly focused on the Touch & Display domain.
Afterward, they joined QNAP Systems in 2013 as a Software Engineer. During their time at QNAP Systems, they worked on developing ZFS for NAS based on FreeBSD, adding encryption functionality to their own ZFS, and integrating threshold notification.
In 2015, Han-Pei joined LatticeWork as a Software Engineering Manager. Han-Pei (Jack) was responsible for developing the samba and NFS management module and creating the package system for the product. Han-Pei (Jack) also built a KVM based development environment to expedite product development.

Han-Pei (Jack) Lin pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with a Bachelor's degree in Atomic Science at National Tsing Hua University from 2000 to 2002. Han-Pei (Jack) then went on to earn another Bachelor's degree, this time in Computer Science, at National Central University, which they attended from 2003 to 2006. Continuing their academic journey, Han-Pei later pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Yuan-Ze University, where they studied from 2007 to 2009.
