Sherrie Whatton

Sherrie Whatton is the President and Strategic Partner-in-Charge of LBMC Staffing Solutions, LLC, a Tennessee staffing firm that takes a strategic approach to recruiting – working closely with both candidates and employers to find the best fit for both parties involved in the hiring process.

She has over 25 years of extensive experience in recruiting and the management of the sales and recruitment placement process of accounting/financial/IT and HR professionals in both direct hire and project-based positions.

Sherrie started her career in auditing with Arthur Andersen, LLP before transitioning into financial recruiting. She was named national “Rookie of the Year” in her first year recruiting for the firm. After launching her career in financial staffing, Sherrie was recruited to open the first Southeast office for a growing national recruiting firm and after two years became the second largest branch in the nation, only behind the founding office location.

In 1998 Sherrie joined LBMC to launch and lead LBMC Staffing Solutions, LLC, now an award-winning recruiting firm solving client problems in the fields of accounting, finance, HR, IT and key manufacturing management staffing.
