Gisella Fu-Ripp has extensive experience in the sales and marketing field. Gisella started their career as a New Business Coordinator at Univision in 1998. Gisella then worked as an Account Executive at Univision Radio, where they established relationships with agencies and local clients.
In 2001, Gisella joined Telemundo as an Account Manager and worked with owned and operated stations as well as affiliates. Gisella sold spots, grassroots events, and other local events to generate billing.
From 2005 to 2008, Gisella worked at Azteca America Spot Sales as a Senior Account Manager. Gisella was responsible for stewardship of top agencies in the NY region and developed new business opportunities with clients directly.
Gisella then joined Discovery En Espanol as a Regional Ad Sales Manager from 2008 to 2010.
From 2010 to 2012, Gisella worked at GolTV as an Ad Sales Manager for the Northeast Region. Gisella was responsible for generating new business and maintaining accounts in the NY region. Gisella presented network capabilities to clients and media agencies to develop partnerships.
Since 2012, Gisella has been working at Latino Alternative TV. Gisella started as a Director of Sales and Marketing, leading Hispanic/Bicultural sales efforts in regions such as NY, Miami, Texas, and Chicago. Gisella was responsible for generating growth on all accounts and creating organic branded solutions for clients. Gisella then became the SVP of Sales, where their role and responsibilities continue.
Gisella Fu-Ripp attended Ramapo College of New Jersey from 1992 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. In addition, they received the IAB Digital Marketing and Media Foundations Certification from IAB LEARNING in November 2017.
