Kaspars Pollaks

Kaspars Pollaks has extensive work experience in the defense and public safety sectors. Kaspars currently serves as the Head of Business Defence and Public Safety at Latvijas Mobilais Telefons SIA. Prior to this role, they were the Innovation Lead in the same department. Before their time in the private sector, Kaspars served as a Naval Officer in the Latvian National Armed Forces for 13 years. Additionally, they have experience as a board member for a non-profit organization.

Kaspars Pollaks has several qualifications and has pursued education in various fields. In 2014, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Military Science, Leadership, and Operational Art from the National Defence Academy of Latvia. Following this, in 2016, they completed a Master of Engineering degree in Maritime Management from Latvijas Juras Akademija.

In 2017, Kaspars attended the United States Navy Surface Warfare Officer School, where they focused on the International Surface Warfare Officer Course. The following year, in 2019, they studied at the National Defence Academy of Latvia, specializing in the International Naval Intermediate Command and Staff Course.

From 2020 onwards, Kaspars enrolled in the United States Navy Surface Warfare Officer School once again, this time to delve into Joint Maritime Tactical Development. Additionally, they have attended the Riga Business School on multiple occasions. In 2022, they completed a MiniMBA program with a focus on Innovation Management. Two years later, in 2023, they concluded a course at Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola - Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, specializing in the Adoption of good practice for increasing export capacity.

The latest entry in Kaspars Pollaks' education history shows that they are currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Riga Business School, and the program is expected to end in 2026.
