Valdis Elerts

Valdis Elerts has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Valdis began their career at Latvijas Mobilais Telefons SIA in 1997, where they held various roles including Head of Network Operation Centre, Senior Engineer, UMTS and GPRS Serving Core Group Manager, Switching Systems Division NSS Engineer, and NOC Operator. Their responsibilities in these roles included monitoring mobile telecommunication networks, transmition network monitoring, control network services functionality monitoring, and providing continuous functionality and development of GPRS/UMTS serving core network elements. Prior to this, they worked as a Scout Leader at the Latvian Scout and Guide Central Organization starting in 1990.

Valdis Elerts has a strong educational background in engineering and management. Valdis obtained their Engineer's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) from 1998 to 2000. Valdis later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Industrial Engineering and Management from the same university, completing it from 2000 to 2003.
