Valters Skrastiņš

Valters Skrastiņš has a diverse work experience in the field of electronics and telecommunications. Valters started their career as an Electronic Engineer at the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science in 2011 and worked there until 2013. In 2014, they joined HansaMatrix, where they held various positions, including New Product Introduction Engineer (NPI), New Product Development Manager, and Head of IoT and Medical Product Development. After leaving HansaMatrix in 2020, Valters joined SAF Tehnika JSC as a Product Owner until 2022. Currently, they are the Head of IoT Hardware at Latvijas Mobilais Telefons SIA.

Valters Skrastiņš has a Mini MBA in Innovation and Leadership from Riga Business School, obtained in the year 2020. In 2012, they started pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), which was completed in 2013. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2013, they obtained another Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University). Additionally, Valters Skrastiņš has earned two certifications: IPC-A-600 from PIEK International Education Centre in April 2017, and IPC-A-610 from the same institution in September 2014.
