Laura Batchelor

Laura Batchelor has extensive experience in alliance management and operational leadership roles in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industries. Laura is currently the Vice President and Head of Alliance Management at Launch Therapeutics since 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Alliance Management at Abingworth from 2022 to 2023. Before joining Abingworth, Laura served as Executive Director, Partnership Excellence at PPD from 2017 to 2022, where they led strategic and operational business processes and initiatives. Laura also held roles such as Senior Director, Biotech Portfolio Lead and Director, Commercial Strategy and Analytics at PPD.

Before their time at PPD, Laura worked at Worldwide Clinical Trials as Chief of Staff from 2016 to 2017 and as Director, Business Processes and Operations from 2015 to 2016. Laura was responsible for implementing strategic initiatives, conducting research, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Laura also gained experience at INC Research, where they served as Portfolio and Operations Management Head for a strategic alliance from 2014 to 2015, and as FSP Manager and Trusted Process Specialist from 2008 to 2014. Overall, Laura Batchelor has showcased expertise in alliance management, operational excellence, and business process improvement throughout their career.

Laura Batchelor received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General from Meredith College in 2007. Laura then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Research from Campbell University, completing it in 2008. Laura'seducation continued with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Research and Product Development from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, which they obtained in 2019.
