Anna Bosch Rue

Anna Bosch Rue has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Anna started their career as a Web Programmer at Getronics in 2002. Anna then worked as a Researcher and later a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford from 2005 to 2008. Anna then joined Mediapro as an R&D Engineer, where they focused on improving workflow through innovation projects and technology transfer.

In 2011, they became a Technology Transfer Manager at the Scientific and Technological Parc from the University of Girona, where they studied industry needs and facilitated technology transfer for multiple research groups.

From 2012 to 2016, Anna worked at Blue Room Innovation as a Consultant for Innovation and R&D Manager. Anna was responsible for studying industry needs, managing R&D projects, supervising PhD students, and leading technology transfer projects related to computer vision, social networks, and big data analysis.

In 2016, Anna joined Launchmetrics as the Director of Software Development, where they designed and developed architectures for big data processing. Anna further advanced in the company and became the VP of Data Intelligence in 2017. In this role, they play a leading role in developing and validating AI and Data Science methods for the company's products. Anna is responsible for developing the AI roadmap, managing the AI team, and incorporating AI knowledge into Launchmetrics' products.

Anna Bosch Rue has a strong educational background in the field of computer science and computer vision. Anna obtained their BSc, MSc, and PhD from Universitat de Girona between 1998 and 2007. Anna then pursued further studies at the University of Oxford, where they completed their PhD and served as a postdoctoral fellow from 2005 to 2008, focusing on computer vision. In 2011, Anna briefly attended Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, obtaining a Master's degree in Cooperation and Humanitarian Action. Anna later attended OBS Business School in 2016 and 2017, where they earned a Master's degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Anna Bosch Rue also holds additional certifications in Machine Learning, including "Launching into Machine Learning" and "How Google does Machine Learning" from Coursera, obtained in 2018, as well as a "Deep Learning Specialization" from Coursera obtained in 2018.
