Dan Pickett

Dan Pickett is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in custom software development and education. As the Founder and Principal Software Developer at LaunchWare since 2006, Dan has led a team focused on delivering tailored software solutions for startups. Dan also founded Launch Academy, Inc., an intensive career accelerator that has trained over 1,000 software engineers and developed a comprehensive learning management system. Previous roles include Technical Co-Founder of Textaurant, where Dan significantly improved customer satisfaction through innovative software solutions, and Director of Engineering at Second Rotation, Inc., where Dan oversaw the development of critical internal systems. Dan's career began as an IT Consultant and later as IT Director at the Norfolk County Sheriff's Office, demonstrating a strong foundation in information technology. Dan holds a degree in Computer Science with additional studies in Entrepreneurship and Philosophy from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
