Dan Kaplan brings to Laurel Strategies over 25 years of digital strategy, content development, and marketing experience.
Most recently, Dan was the Managing Director of Corporate Communications for IMPAQ International, a 400-person public policy research and data analytics firm, where he oversaw all aspects of branding, marketing, internal communications, events, publishing, public relations, and corporate social responsibility. Through his wide-ranging career, Dan has been a college writing instructor, travel writer, fundraiser, Federal program manager, entrepreneur, and owner of a digital marketing agency.
Dan is a graduate of the University of Maine (MA, English) and the University of Maryland (BA, English & Business). Dan lives in Baltimore with his wife and three children, has visited 40 countries, and in his spare time raises money for breast cancer research by climbing mountains.
