Marissa Shaevel

Marissa Shaevel is a dedicated educational professional currently serving as a Technology/STEAM Specialist at Laurence School since June 2023. Previously, Marissa held positions as an Educational Technology Specialist at Westside Neighborhood School, and an Educational Technology Associate Teacher at Brentwood School, where responsibilities included designing curriculum and leading technology classes for K-5 students. Marissa's extensive experience also encompasses substitute teaching across multiple districts, as well as roles as a Head Teacher at Huntington Learning Center and an Elementary School Teacher at Fenton Charter Public Schools. Marissa holds a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Instructional Design and Educational Technology from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies/Elementary Education from California State University, Northridge.
