Karen Dillon

Karen Dillon has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Karen currently holds the position of Director of Operations at Laureus, a role they started in January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief of Staff at Optio from December 2013 to October 2021. Karen also served as the Red Carpet Manager for the Laureus World Sports Awards from February 2013 to February 2020.

Before joining Optio and Laureus, Karen worked as a CRM Specialist at British Land from September 2013 to January 2017. Karen also held the position of Operations Manager at Gardens LLP from January 2009 to February 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Communications & Events Consultant at Borough Market from August 2009 to February 2010.

Furthermore, Karen has experience in the telecommunications industry, having served as an Associate Event Director at GSMA from April 2007 to May 2009. Prior to that, they were the Global Head of Communications at the Laureus World Sports Awards from December 2002 to March 2007.

Karen's early career involved working in the music industry, specifically at Universal Music Group - Australia, NZ, Africa Region. Karen held the position of Regional Marketing & International Exploitation Coordinator from September 1999 to August 2002.

Karen Dillon earned a BA Honors degree in Japanese from the SOAS University of London, from 1987 to 1992.
