Marc Bir

Marc Bir is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and architecture roles across various companies. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Lava.ai since June 2018, Marc has also held prominent positions such as Chief Architect at RapidNinja, LLC, and Chief Technology Officer at Compellon, Inc., where innovative solutions for Big Data analytics were developed. Prior roles include leadership positions at GenieDB, Evantix, OneScreen, Citi Residential Lending, and Argent Mortgage. Marc's expertise in building and managing complex software systems was further demonstrated at Enron, where core trading systems for power trading were designed. Marc holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Business Management from Angelo State University and a BS in Computer Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
