Jurjen Ruben

Jurjen Ruben has a long and varied work experience. Jurjen began with internships in 2003 at the University of Vermont Department of Pathology, the Nijmegen Centre for Molecular Life Sciences Department of Molecular Animal Physiology, and the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre Central Hematology Laboratory. In 2006, they completed an internship at the Nijmegen Centre for Molecular Life Sciences Nephrology Research Laboratory. From 2009 to 2013, they were a PhD Candidate at VU University Amsterdam. Jurjen then moved on to a Postdoc Researcher position at Leiden University Medical Center from 2013 to 2019. Since 2021, they have been a Senior Scientist at Lava Therapeutics B.V.

Jurjen Ruben completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Immunology at Radboud University from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) from Avans University of Applied Sciences between 2000 and 2004.
