Bill Michels

Bill Michels has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Bill is currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer and Board of Directors at LavenirAI, a company that provides revolutionary training and development for procurement and sales negotiation technology. Bill is also the Chief Executive Officer of Aripart Consulting and a Co-Founder and Board Director of Lavenir AI.

Prior to their current roles, Bill Michels worked at The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply as the Vice President of Operations, Americas from 2018 to 2022.

Before that, they founded Aripart Consulting in 2014 and served as the CEO. The consulting firm focused on delivering value and competitive advantage to clients through sound procurement and supply chain strategies.

From 2011 to 2014, Bill Michels held the positions of President ADR North America, ADR-ISM China, and Senior Vice President ISM at the Institute for Supply Management.

Bill'searly career includes roles at ADR International, where they served as the CEO of ADR North America and Managing Partner of ADR International from 1996 to 2011. Bill also worked as the Director of North American Operations and a Partner at ADR Limited from 1991 to 1996.

Bill Michels obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where they attended from 1977 to 1981. Bill then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business from Baldwin Wallace University, completing their studies from 1985 to 1987.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Bill Michels also obtained various certifications related to procurement and supply management. Bill earned the Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) certification from the Institute for Supply Management in September 2005. Later, in June 2012, they obtained the MCIPS certification from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply. More recently, in June 2021, they achieved the Chartered Professional designation from the same institution. As of April 2022, they have also obtained the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification from the Institute for Supply Management.
