Chris Nicol is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in developing collaborative solutions within cross-functional teams. Currently at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has been instrumental in the development of hardware for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Prior roles include serving as a firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, where Chris contributed to firmware and diagnostic tools, and as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on electronics design for educational devices. Additionally, Chris gained valuable experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary and worked as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
