Karen Anselmo

Karen Anselmo is an accomplished finance and operations professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as Finance Manager at the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley since September 2023, Karen is also self-employed as a nonprofit consultant specializing in operations, HR, and finance since July 2023. Previously, from February 2015 to April 2023, Karen held the position of Senior Operations Director at Californians for Justice, where responsibilities included overseeing operational systems and enhancing HR practices for a $7M organization. Additional roles include Director of Operations at Community Technology Alliance, where financial management and compliance oversight were key duties, and Director of Operations and Special Projects at LeaderSpring, where strategic growth and decision-making were priorities. Karen has also contributed as Co-Chair of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network and began their career as an Executive Assistant at Health Leads. Educational qualifications include a BA in Government from Harvard University and an MA in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco.
