Glenn "Tommy" Starkweather has extensive experience in legal and coaching roles. Currently serving as an Assistant Public Defender at the Law Offices of the Public Defender in the 20th Judicial Circuit since April 2018, Starkweather previously worked as a Swim Coach at St. Johns Country Day School, where responsibilities included managing competitive swim teams, pool operations, and scheduling. Prior legal experience encompasses positions such as Intake Paralegal at Kaufman, Englett and Lynd, and Legal Assistant at Musca Law, where Starkweather excelled in client intake, case management, and communication between clients and attorneys. Starkweather's background also includes legal internships across various organizations and academic qualifications, including a Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law, a commercial diver certification, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University.
