Amanda Valter

Amanda Valter is an Assistant Public Defender at the Public Defender 2nd Judicial since May 2022, focusing on providing legal representation for indigent clients in criminal cases in Tallahassee, FL. Prior experience includes serving as a Certified Legal Intern in the same legal capacity and Law Clerk at Printy & Printy, P.A., where responsibilities involved preparing legal documents and conducting legal research. Amanda Valter also worked as a Teaching Assistant for the FSU College of Law Juris Master Program and as a Student Advocate at the FSU Law Public Interest Law Center, representing children in various legal matters. Additional roles in earlier positions include an Abuse Counselor with the Florida Department of Children and Families and a Medical Receptionist. Amanda Valter holds a Doctor of Law degree from Florida State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Brigham Young University - Idaho. Amanda Valter is also the owner of Amanda Valter Photography, established in March 2018.
