Maureen McMahon has a diverse work experience in the field of accounting and finance. Maureen began their career at KPMG US, where they worked as a Supervising Senior from 1988 to 1991. Maureen then moved on to Buffalo Color Corporation, where they held the position of Manager of General Accounting from 1991 to 2000. Following that, they joined Bureau Veritas as a Controller from 2001 to 2003.

Maureen then joined Lawley in 2003 and has held multiple roles within the company. Maureen started as a Controller from 2003 to 2006, then transitioned to the role of Branch Coordinator from 2007 to 2010. Maureen then served as the Operations Manager from 2010 to 2011. From 2012 to 2021, they worked as the Strategic Projects Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Co-Chief Financial Officer, starting in January 2022.

Maureen McMahon, CPA, CGMA obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from St. Bonaventure University between 1984 and 1988. Maureen also holds several additional certifications including the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the NYS Education Department Professional Licensing Services and the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, they have obtained a NYS Property and Casualty Insurance Brokers License from the State of New York Department of Financial Services.
