Oi Wo Mark has a diverse work experience in web development, with a focus on building and maintaining websites and applications.

Starting in 2009, Mark worked as an Applications/Database Intern at the State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority, where they assisted in migrating client-server programs to web-based design and conducted research on new functionality for web-based applications.

From 2010 to 2016, Mark held roles at Sprout Creative Group and SankyNet as a Technical Web/Application Intern and Web Developer, respectively. In these positions, they redesigned websites, turned PSD designs into web pages, and implemented new functionality for clients' CMS sites.

Mark then joined Spanfeller Media Group in 2011 as a Web Developer, where they wrote new Drupal modules, modified existing modules, and redesigned the site based on PSDs.

In 2012, Mark worked as a Web Developer at TheaterMania, where they migrated legacy APIs and frontend to a new admin system, incorporated Amazon Web Services for reliable infrastructure, and implemented various site improvements.

From 2013 to 2016, Mark worked at Complex Media as a Web Developer, where they utilized APIs to build a custom branded video player and helped launch a video-sharing platform. Oi Wo also implemented an embeddable relevancy widget to display related videos based on keywords.

Since 2016, Mark has been with Lawline, starting as a Senior Web Developer and progressing to Lead Engineer and Director of Engineering. In these roles, they have built production-ready tools, overseen AWS infrastructure, and helped launch auto-renewal and tier subscription features to increase revenue.

Throughout their career, Mark has utilized various technologies, such as Laravel, Vuejs, Algolia, Backbone, Marionettejs, and MySQL, to create scalable and efficient solutions.

Oi Wo Mark completed an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Professional Business College between 2004 and 2006. After that, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Coordinated Engineering Program in Computer Engineering at Brooklyn College. Later, between 2008 and 2010, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer/Software Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York University.
