Anna Vasquez

Anna Vasquez is an experienced community health nurse currently working at Lawndale Christian Health Center since September 2018. As a Center for Global Initiatives Intern at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing since August 2016, Anna collaborates with organizations like the Pan American Health Association and the World Health Organization to advance global nursing and midwifery practices. Anna's previous roles include serving as a Community Health Educator with the Peace Corps, writing a nutrition column for Highcross Farm, and providing home healthcare services. Anna holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with concentrations in public health, nutrition, and health professions from Gordon College. Additionally, Anna has hands-on experience in various healthcare settings, including research internships and as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
