Matt Hussey

Matt Hussey is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in behavioral health. Currently serving as a Behavioral Health Provider and Behavioral Health Postdoctoral Resident at Lawndale Christian Health Center since August 2019, Matt Hussey has conducted individual psychotherapy sessions, performed diagnostic intake evaluations, and completed pre-surgical bariatric assessments. Previous roles include Clinical Psychology Intern at Counseling and Psychological Services at Appalachian State University, Psychology Extern at both Northern Illinois University and Centegra Health System, and various internships in different fields. Matt Hussey holds a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology-Schaumburg, along with a B.A. in Psychology from Wheaton College.
