Andreas Hilmer

Andreas Hilmer has extensive experience in marketing and communications, currently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer at Lawo since January 2021, after holding the position of Director Marketing & Communications from July 2013 to December 2020. In addition to this role, Andreas is a member of the Board of Directors at IABM, holding the title of Chair Emeritus since July 2023 after serving as Chair from July 2019 to July 2023. Andreas has also been a member of the Board and Financial Officer for the AIMS Alliance for IP Media Solutions since December 2015, following a previous board membership at the MNA Media Networking Alliance. Prior experience includes the Director of Marketing & Communications role at Riedel Communications GmbH & Co. KG from 2004 to June 2013 and PR Consultant positions at PR Partner Societät für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Communications Science, Psychology, and Sociology from the University of Augsburg, as well as a degree in PR Consultant, Public Relations & Marketing from oeffentlichkeitsarbeit.de.
