Jennifer Carroll is the Director of Administrative Affairs at LAWRENCE HALL. Jennifer has been with the company since October 2012, first as the Intake Coordinator- Placement Services and then as the Site Director of Transitional Living Program Sites. In their current role, they are responsible for managing Intake and Admissions for the Placement Programs at Lawrence Hall Youth Services (LHYS.) This includes screening, interviewing, and admitting youth into the Residential, Group Home, Transitional Living, and Independent Living Programs at LH.
Prior to joining LHYS, Jennifer worked in the juvenile and criminal court system, The Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), various mental health and medical providers, employment training providers, and outside contractors working with the agency. Jennifer has a wealth of experience in assisting with placement transitions, quarterly and special youth staffing and reviews, action plans to improve youth stability and success, expanding and utilizing youth vocational experiences, and educational service engagement. In their previous role as the Site Director of Transitional Living Program Sites, they supervised a staff of 9-12 direct care workers, providing guidance on teaching life skills to resident youth, case management, utilization of community resources, file organization, record maintenance, document drafting, and counseling on staff members’ own advancement and professional development.
Jennifer is passionate about their work with LHYS and is committed to helping every youth that comes through their doors reach their full potential.
Jennifer Carroll has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & Sociology from Eastern Illinois University.
