Tu Dao MBA, CPA, CGA, serves as a Career Mentor at Heriot-Watt University, leveraging over 15 years of professional experience to guide students in their career aspirations. Currently a Financial Controller at Layfield Group, Tu has advanced through various roles, contributing to the company’s growth and community commitment. In addition, Tu is a member of the Financial Management Program Advisory Committee at Langara College, providing insights to ensure program relevance, and acts as a Subject Matter Expert in accounting for colleges in British Columbia and Ontario. Tu is involved with Pickleball Canada, the Vancouver Mentoring Hub, and founded the Richmond Chess Club to promote sports and mentorship. Additional roles include serving as Faculty at University Canada West and Treasurer for Richmond Pickleball. Tu holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, among other educational credentials.
