Luca Barni

Luca Barni is a seasoned business development professional with extensive experience in the e-commerce and retail sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Regional Business Development at Lazada since November 2019, Luca leads efforts to expand premium brand partnerships across Southeast Asia. Previously, positions included Chief Business Officer of Lazada Singapore, where oversight of LazMall was provided, and Category Director for Fashion and Health & Beauty. Prior experience includes Managing Director E-Commerce at The Rake, Regional Category Manager at Lazada - Alibaba Group, and VP of Purchasing at Nova Founders Capital. Luca co-founded a digital agency in Milan focusing on e-commerce solutions and started a career as an Analyst at UBI Banca's Corporate and Investment Bank. Luca holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Università Bocconi and is currently pursuing further education at Simon Fraser University.
