Peter Keenan

Peter Keenan is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Lazard, overseeing the global information security strategy for the firm. With extensive experience in information security roles, Peter has been a member of the SANS CISO Network since March 2020 and an adjunct faculty member at New York University School of Law since the same year, mentoring executives in cybersecurity risk and strategy. Prior to their role at Lazard, Peter held key positions at Citi as Head of Information Risk Governance and Program Director, and at PriceWaterhouseCoopers as a Director leading IT security audit services. Peter's early career included founding Intelligent Computer Solutions, where Peter designed security infrastructures, and working as a Systems Engineer at Advanced Testing Technologies. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the New York Institute of Technology.
