Shanel Garcia

Shanel Garcia, MBAFin is the Global Head of Risk Management, Budget, and Strategic Planning at Lazard. Prior to their current role, Shanel served as Vice President Business Security Operations and Information Technology Project Manager at Lazard. Shanel is also an Adjunct Professor of Business at The New School, and an Adjunct Continuing Educator at CUNY Hostos Community College. Shanel previously held positions such as Chief of Staff at Tameer, Financial Analyst at LaGuardia Community College, and Case Planner at Edwin Gould Services for Children & Families. Shanel holds a Master's degree in Business Administration/Finance from Monroe College and a Bachelor of Science in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from the University of Connecticut.
