Colleen Booth has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. Colleen is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Lazy Bear, a position they assumed in 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Restaurant Operations Consultant and Project Manager for Self from 2017 onwards. In this role, they were involved in various aspects of opening strategy, including creating and implementing systems and procedures, managing construction projects, and overseeing training and HR.
In 2020, Colleen took on the role of General Manager at Atelier Crenn, a renowned restaurant. Their responsibilities included leading the team during the COVID-19 shutdown, adapting operations to comply with regulations, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
From 2018 to 2020, they were the General Manager at Airbnb Headquarters in San Francisco for Bon Appetit. Colleen managed a large team and oversaw all food and beverage services, including training, budgeting, and planning. Colleen also implemented a new hospitality program and launched an onsite catering program.
Prior to these roles, Colleen held positions such as the General Manager and Director of Food & Beverage at Rambler, the FOH Manager/Maitre D' at Lazy Bear, the Director of Operations at La Capra Coffee, and the General Manager at Anchor & Hope Restaurant. Colleen also served as the Director of Events and Guest & Community Relations at Stock and Bones Culinary Group.
Throughout their career, Colleen has demonstrated strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a focus on creating exceptional guest experiences.
Colleen Booth earned their Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus in Journalism from Northeastern University, where they studied between 2002 and 2006.
