On his journey to becoming a Regional Engineering Manager for LBA, David drew on lessons learned from his mother, who worked hard raising him and his nine siblings. The first of his family to graduate high school, attend college and purchase a home, David’s work ethic, motivation and willingness to take on new challenges continues to serve him well at LBA.
Before joining LBA, David followed numerous entrepreneurial endeavors across several industries, including bartending, commercial cleaning and insurance sales. He credits these diverse experiences for his unique ability to identify and solve problems and effectively communicate with his teams.
Originally hired by LBA in 2006 as a bartender, David’s general manager recognized his strong work ethic and offered him a position in maintenance. Just one year later he was promoted to Chief Engineer, where he spent nine years and earned the esteemed honor of being named 2010 Employee of the Year at Residence Inn Huntsville Alabama. Promoted to his current position of Regional Engineering Manager in 2017, David provides daily support to a portfolio of LBA engineering teams, approves and submits capital expenditures, and assists in new property and takeover transitions, hiring and training.
On the road much of the time, David treasures every minute he spends with his family, especially relaxing family weekends at the beach.
