Ries van Harmelen

Ries van Harmelen has extensive experience in the field of industrial noise control and sound monitoring, currently serving as an Adviseur at LBP SIGHT since September 2010. Prior to this role, Ries conducted research on noise disturbances caused by mechanical ventilation during an internship at Adviesburo Nieman B.V., where guidelines for building design were established. Previous internships included work at Lichtveld Buis & Partners, focusing on construction, space, and environment, and an assistant execution role at Ballast Nedam on a project in Amsterdam. Ries holds a degree from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and further pursued education at Stichting PostAcademisch Onderwijs following completion of secondary education at Alberdingk Thijm College.
