Andrea Clendaniel, MLS(ASCP), has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2014, they worked as a Pastry Cook at Metropolitan Bakery & Cafe until 2016. Andrea then joined R2L as a Pastry Cook, demonstrating exceptional skills in a high-volume and high-stress environment until 2017.

In 2017, Andrea took on the role of Laboratory Technician I at WuXi Advanced Therapies, where they performed various assays and maintained laboratory operations. Andrea was promoted to Laboratory Technician II in 2018, taking on additional responsibilities in testing and documentation in compliance with industry guidelines and regulations.

From 2020 to 2021, Andrea contributed their expertise as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in Microbiology at Children's Hospital New Orleans. Following this, they worked as a Health & Safety Supervisor at The Walt Disney Company, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols from September 2021 to January 2022.

In 2022, Andrea worked as a Laboratory Supervisor at RESOLVE MOLECULAR DIAGNOSTICS LLC before joining Flow Health as a Molecular Technologist. Andrea then transitioned to their current role as a System Analyst - Epic Beaker at LCMC Health, where they apply their skills in analyzing and managing the Epic Beaker system.

Andrea Clendaniel, MLS(ASCP), has a diverse educational background. Andrea obtained a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts from The Art Institutes in 2016. Andrea also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Delaware, which they completed in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Andrea Clendaniel has acquired several certifications. Andrea obtained the Beaker Clinical Pathology certification from Epic in October 2022. In May 2020, they achieved the Clinical Laboratory Scientist: Generalist (CLS) certification from the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. Andrea also holds the Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP-MLS) certification from the ASCP BOC, which they obtained in May 2020.
