Barbara Wong is a seasoned Chef Sommelier currently at Le Bernardin since November 2018. Previously, Barbara held the position of Sommelier at Union Square Hospitality Group from 2014 to 2018, where accomplishments included contributing to The Modern, a two-Michelin-star restaurant, achieving both a second Michelin star and the Wine Spectator Grand Award. Additionally, Barbara was the Beverage Director and Sommelier at Commerce Restaurant from January 2008 to 2013. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Queens College and a degree in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School.
