Santanu Pramanik

Santanu Pramanik has a diverse work experience in the field of research and statistics. Santanu is currently working as a Research Director at LEAD at Krea University since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Fellow and Deputy Director at NCAER from May 2018 to March 2023. Santanu also worked as a Research Scientist at the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) from October 2012 to December 2017. Santanu began their career as a Survey Statistician at NORC at the University of Chicago in October 2008 and worked there until September 2012.

Santanu Pramanik earned their Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Calcultta, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. Santanu later pursued a PhD at the University of Maryland in the field of Survey Methodology, completing their doctoral studies between 2004 and 2008.
