Maria Gil has a diverse work experience in digital marketing. Maria began their career in 2012 as an intern at Thompson Marketing, where they were later promoted to Director of Interactive Media. In 2014, they joined Toolbox Studios as SEO/SEM Director, where they were responsible for executing and overseeing SEO recommendations, keyword discovery and optimization for SEO and SEM, and researching and analyzing competitor advertising links. In 2018, they moved to Leadhub as Digital Marketing Manager.

Maria Gil has an educational background in Visual Arts from Universidad de Antioquia (2003-2008) and an Associate's degree in Web Page, Digital/Multimedia and Information Resources Design from San Antonio College (2010-2013). Maria also has certifications from Curtin University, Coursera, LinkedIn, HubSpot, Google, and the American Marketing Association.
