Matthew Foran

Matthew Foran has a diverse work experience in healthcare and sports tech industries. Matthew currently works at EnableHealth LLC as a Healthcare Innovation Consultant. Prior to this, they were a Sr. Program Manager at leAD Sports & Health Tech Partners, where they supported and built out programs for selected companies and enhanced the accelerator portfolio strategy through relationships with mentors and program partners. Matthew also worked as a Startup Analyst, where they sourced and built relationships with startups in the sports and healthcare ecosystems.

Matthew also has experience in the digital-health industry, where they were a part of Berlin Startup School's early-stage incubation program as a Future Founder. During this time, they built a digital-health platform that connects patients with physiotherapists easily.

In the past, Matthew established their own Podiatry clinic, The Pod Clinic, where they managed staff with work-related musculoskeletal issues and provided wellness programs and advice on nutrition and performance strategies. Matthew has also worked as a Podiatrist at Bray Chiropody and Podiatry and a Sales Assistant at Foot Solutions Franchise Company.

Matthew's journey in the healthcare industry began as a Student Podiatrist at Health Service Executive, where they gained foundational knowledge and skills.

Matthew Foran began their education journey at the University of Galway from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Podiatric Medicine/Podiatry. Following this, they attended the University of Glasgow from 2018 to 2019 for a Master's degree in Sports and Exercise Science and Medicine. Currently, they are enrolled at Trinity College Dublin, pursuing an Executive MBA, which will be completed between 2022 and 2024.
