Vice President, Leadership Development & Design at Leadership for Educational Equity

Caroline Starrs Allen, MPA has over 14 years of experience in leadership development and program design. From 2012 to present, Caroline served as the Vice President, Leadership Development & Design for Leadership for Educational Equity. In this role, they provide program design and management support, oversees evaluation and analysis of programming data, and contributes to the organization's strategic planning process. Prior to this, Caroline was the Senior Director and Director of Leadership Development, where they led the design and delivery of various leadership development programs.

Before joining Leadership for Educational Equity, Caroline worked as the Director of State Programs for The Center for Progressive Leadership from 2006 to 2012. In this position, they designed and managed state-based leadership development programs, provided personalized support to participants, and managed a team of state program managers. Caroline was also responsible for the annual program evaluation and revision process.

Caroline Starrs Allen obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan, which they attended from 1997 to 2001. Caroline further pursued their education by completing a Master of Public Administration degree in Public Administration at Michigan State University between 2003 and 2005.
