Tori Samples

Tori Samples is the Co-Founder and CTO of Leaf. She brings a background in technology and fifteen years of personal experience working with refugees. As a Data Architect at HCA Healthcare—the leading for-profit provider of healthcare in the US—Tori designed and developed on some of the largest datasets in the world for six years. She holds a patent pending in claims-based longitudinal care summarization through Health Information Exchange. She has also worked in direct care-delivery settings across the world, including HIV/AIDS clinics in Tanzania and the Emergency Department of a 650-bed hospital in the US. She has an MBA from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
