Following this, in the period of 2009 to 2012, they attended Cardiff University/Prifysgol Caerdydd, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, majoring in History and Sociology. Later, Ruth enrolled at the University of Warwick in 2013 and completed their Master of History by Research degree in the subsequent year. Ruth'sresearch during this program focused on Gender Roles during the Khmer Rouge regime. Apart from their formal education, Ruth also obtained the Certified OKR Foundation certification from the OKR Institute in February 2023.
